How to Reach Tripura

Air

The Agartala airport in Tripura is the nearest airport located at a distance of only 5mins from Agartala. The airport is well connected with Kolkata and Guwahati by direct flights. There are other cities also that are connected- Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Imphal, Silchar, Aizwal, and Hyderabad.  After reaching the airport one can hire a taxi and reach their preferred location.

Road

One can reach Tripura from Teliamura, Manu, Kamarghat, Aizawl, and Shillong as the state and private buses run from these places and connects to Tripura. The state Tripura is also connected by road with Guwahati via Shillong by NH 44 and takes around 24 hrs from Guwahati to reach Agartala.  

Rail

The nearest railway station is the Kumarghat railway station that is around 140kms away from Tripura. The Kumarghat railway station is well connected to the prominent cities- Kolkata, Delhi, Indore, Chennai and Bangalore. After reaching the railway station one can hire a taxi to reach Tripura.
