It is believed that Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva visited Brahma Kund during the Vedic time frame. One can take a dip in the Holy water of River Ganga but only on the banks and on the designated areas. It is not allowed to go deep into the water as the waves are highly unpredictable and there is a huge risk of life.
