Way to Badrinath Temple

Badrinath Dham is located in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand on the bank of River Alaknanda. If you are traveling from Delhi or any other state of India then you need to board a bus or train from Delhi or by flight you can reach directly to JollyGrant Airport.

From Haridwar to Rishikesh via road, after crossing Rishikesh we will come across Devprayag. Then you will come across Rudraprayag is again the confluence point of two rivers Alaknanda and Mandakini river. Further, we will move forward to another confluence point which is Karnaprayag, where the river Alakhnanda and River Pindar meet together.

Bheem Pul is a scaffold built by Bheem while he was going to paradise to cross the Saraswati River. He took a tremendous stone and spotted it on the Saraswati waterway which is currently known as Bheem Pul.

8. Narad Kund

Narad Kund is also located near Badrinath Dham where devotees take a dip in its holy water. It is the place where Adi Guru Shankaracharya got the idol of Lord Vishnu.

9. Vyas Gufa

Vyas Gufa is a cave from where Saint Ved Vyas narrated the whole Mahabharat epic to  Lord Ganesha. And Lord Ganesha wrote it in a different Gufa located in the proximity.

10. Brahma Kapal

How to reach Badrinath

By Air: The closest air terminal to Badrinath Dham is Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun and from that point, get a taxi for Govindghat.
