India is a country in South Asia. It is the second-most populous county and the seventh-largest country by land area and the most populous democracy in the world. New Delhi is the capital of India. Hindi and English are the official languages of it. There are 29 states and 7 union territories in India. It is bounded by the Indian Ocean on the South, the Arabian Sea on the Southwest and Bay of Bengal on the Southeast.
