Dawki is a small village that is located on the border of Jaintia Hill and is famous for its Dawki River or Umngot River. Umngot River which is otherwise called the Dawki River is a completely clear lake that is encircled by a lavish green climate. Umngot Stream is situated in the town which is settled at the lower part of Jaintia Hills. The water of this waterway is so clear and clean that when a Boat drifts on it seems like the boat is noticeable all around. While sailing in the Umngot River you can recognize the lovely shakes and stones situated on the waterway surface likewise you can detect the vivid fish drifting through the green water of this waterway. During this period the surroundings become much greener and eye-pleasing as it soaks the monsoon rainwater. You need to track for around two kilometers from Pomshutia village to reach this waterfall. you can explore this wonderful waterfall from 8 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
3. Jaflong Zero point
Jaflong Zero Point is located on the India-Bangladesh border and is in proximity of 1 kilometer from Dawki market. This is the point from where the Dawki River flows in Bangladesh. Here you will find Khasi tribes and the Crystal Clear Water. This place can be explored from 8 in the morning till 4 in the evening.
4. Mawshun Cave
Mawshun cave is one of the most prominent attractions of Dawki village and is situated on the east Khasi hill of Meghalaya. This cave is located in the proximity of Mawshun village. There is a little pond that is formed due to the flow of water and a completely pleasant and calm environment that soaks up your soul. You need to work at least for 5 minutes on the rough surface to reach this cave. This cave can be visited at any time throughout the week.
5. Borehill Falls
Borehill Falls is one of the prominent attractions of Meghalaya and is located near the national border. The beauty of this waterfall will surely make your day with just a look. The water of this waterfall flows from India and enters in Bangladesh border. This waterfall is also called Bophill falls or the Pangthumai Falls by the local people.

By Road: Dawki is located at the proximity of 90 km from the capital city of Meghalaya which is Shillong. You can either drive by yourself to Dawki or hire a public vehicle for this journey.
By Train: One of the frequently used modes of transport for reaching doubt is the train. The nearest railway station to Dawki village is the Guwahati railway station. From the railway station, you need to take a drive of approx 200 kilometers to reach this place you can hire any public or private transport to reach Dawki.
By Air: Dawki does not have an airport and hence the closest Airport is Guwahati Airport. Guwahati Airport is connected to various prominent cities of India. From Guwahati airport, you need to take a drive of two and a half hours to reach your destination.
