1. Gangtok

The beautiful Gangtok is the capital of the Sikkim state. The capital attracts the visitors by its never-ending walking trails, and yes by the hospitality by the locals. Visit this fantabulous land in the months from October to June that is considered to be the perfect time to explore. Add some interesting places in your tour itinerary- Jhakri Falls and Kyongnosla waterfalls, snow-capped ranges of Mt. Kachendzonga, Enchey Monastry, enjoy Yak ride here and do indulge in paragliding here when in Gangtok.

2. Pelling

Pelling is a superb destination in Sikkim. It is a small town but the picturesque places it offers are mind-blowing. Come here from mid-February to June to capture some beautiful memories. Explore some ravishing places here like- Sangachoeling Monastery, Sewaro Rock Garden, Rimbi waterfall, Kanchenjunga Fall, Kaluk, Singshore Bridge and lote more other places to explore.

3. Aritar

The place Aritar is renowned for its virgin beauty, pretty temples and yes for monasteries too. It is nestled in the east of Sikkim and is considered to be the most prominent town in the region. Head towards this land in the months from March to May as these months are considered to be the most preferred months to explore places here. Indulge in some adventure here like paragliding, Aritar lake, Rishi Khola, Que Khola Falls, Rhenock Gompa monastery are some astounding places to explore in Aritar.

4. Biksthang

Biksthang is located at a distance of about 119kms from Gangtok. It is a quaint village famed for offering the amazing view of Mt. Kanchenjungha. It is a paradise for bird lovers. October to February months are considered apt for visiting this place. Once in this land do not miss a visit to Lheuntse monastery, Rahu Ney Caves and the deity of Khangchendzonga guardian god of Sikkim that guards the five treasures that are symbolized by peaks of – Kanchendzonga, Narsing, Gabur Gangsten, Pandim and Simvo.

5. Yangtey

Yangtey is a small yet picturesque village located at a distance of just 9kms from Pelling. Explore this place in the winter season as the weather is pleasant and is very apt for sightseeing. This village is close to other famous tourist attractions like- Khecheopalri Lake, Khangchendzonga waterfalls, Rimbi waterfalls, Sewaro rock garden and some other places too.

6. Yuksom

Yuksom is an old historic town that is considered to be the best place to explore in Sikkim. March to June months are considered to be the best time to explore this place. Norbugang Park, Tashi Tenka, Dubdi Gompa, Khangchendzpnga national park are some astounding places to visit in Yuksom.

7. Lachen

Lachen is a very beautiful distant village in North Sikkim. Visit this superb location in the months from March and June and December and January for snowfall. Head towards the Gurudongmar lake and other places to witness. Add this serene place in your tour itinerary and capture some wonderful moments.

8. Ravangla

The destination Ravangla offers some astonishing views of pretty mountains. It is truly a very famous tourist attraction in Sikkim. Enjoy hiking and trekking in this land. Visit in the months- March and June and head towards Tathagata Tsal- a Buddhist park, Mane Choekhorling Gompa, Pang Lhabsol and some other places too.

9. Zuluk

Zuluk is one of the offbeat places to explore in Sikkim. It is a small hamlet and is located at a high altitude and has an empowering history due to its connection with Silk Route. Visit this fabulous place in the months- August and September. Explore some mind-blowing places like- Nag temple, Mt. Kanchenjungha, Thambi viewpoint and some other exciting places too.
