Nashik

Nashik is a religious Hindu city. It is host to the Kumbh Mela every 12 years. Nashik named after a relic associated with Ramayana. It is a city in Maharashtra located on the banks of river Godavari.

Dudhsagar Falls

Dudhsagar Falls is one of the pristine falls and offers the panoramic vies with fantabulous scenery. This pretty waterfall is in full verve during monsoon season and thus makes it the most awesome spot to explore. 

Saptashrungi

Saptashrungi is a Hindu pilgrimage spot located around 60 km from Nashik. To reach the top of the temple one needs to take 510 steps or a ropeway that takes around 2 minutes. During special festivals like Navratri and Poornima, this pretty temple offers free food to its devotees.

Anjaneri Hills

Anjaneri Hills is believed to be the birthplace of Lord Hanuman. The name of this pretty hill is derived from Lord Hanuman’s mother Anjani. It is perched in the picturesque mountain range of Nasik-Trimbakeshwar. It is also a popular spot for hikers.

Best time to visit

The best time to explore Nashik is from October to February as the weather is quite salubrious and very apt for sightseeing.

Summer

The months from Apil to June are the summer months with the temperature going up to 40°C. The weather remains very hot. Avoid this season for sightseeing.

Monsoon

July till September is witnessed with the monsoon season. The temperature during this time reaches up to 38°C. this season is considered to be the off-season and is the good option for budget and offbeat travellers.

Winter

The months from October to March are considered to be the winter months with the temperature reaching up to 32°C and is the peak season for exploring Nashik and is considered to be the tourist season.
