On this Trek you will be staying in a guest house and tents. Your first night it will be in a guest house in Raithal and on the next day your Ascend starts from Raithal to GUI and then from GUI to Dayara Bugyal.
After spending a complete day Dayara Bugyal and exploring Dayara top and having the magnificent view from there, you will be descending towards Barsu and from Barsu you will be picked up in a car and dropped at Dehradun. The complete Trek is having various paranormal views of Green Meadows and oak and Pine trees. During the winter season the beauty of this place enhances and there is a powdery snow all around and the small crystals which can be seen on the branches of trees appear like a diamond when the rays of sun falls on it. It is strictly prohibited to you to enjoy this Trek during the monsoon season as the path becomes really wet and slippery which increases the chances of getting oneself hurt.
Bugyal is mainly referred as the higher elevated land which has an elevation of 3300 metres to 4000 metres. Summer
During the summer months there is no snow left but if you go above the elevation of 10000 feet you can find some traces of snow. During the daytime you can experience a hot Wind blowing but the night times are cooler as compared to day. Winter
During the winter months experiencing heavy snowfall, the complete area gets under a thick sheet of snow. You can see the snowflakes and crystals of snow hanging on Pine trees and on your path. Monsoon
During the monsoon season it is not advisable to go on this Trek as due to rainfall the path is more slippery and there are more chances to get hurt. How To Reach
By Rail
Dehradun railway station is the nearest railway station that is connected to the major cities of India like Delhi, Lucknow, etc. From the railway station, you can hire local bus private vehicles for a taxi to reach Raithal which is the starting point for the trek.
By Road
There are many government buses, taxis, and that run from Delhi to the Dehradun bus stand. On reaching Dehradun you can take a local bus to Dehradun Railway station and from there you will be picked up in Tata Sumo or some similar category vehicle. The total distance between Dehradun and Raithal is around 180 km which can be covered in the time period of 7 hours.
By Air
Jolly Grant Airport is the nearest airport which is located in Dehradun. From the airport, you can hire any local vehicle for a cab to reach the point from where you will be picked up in Tata Sumo or similar vehicle.
